Event Description

Join us at the stunning Bohemia Preserve for a rejuvenating forest bathing session designed specifically for healthcare workers. This gentle, sensory-based mindfulness practice invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world—offering a powerful antidote to stress and burnout.

Guided by certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide Jenny Harrow-Keeler, this workshop is freely offered to healthcare workers thanks to the generous funding provided by Mindful of Nature. It will also be conducted as part of a research project to assess the impacts of nature-based mindfulness on participants.

Forest bathing, or Shinrin Yoku, is a guided mindfulness practice in nature that supports stress reduction, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being. It’s not a hike—there’s no destination or fitness goal—just an invitation to slow down, engage the senses, and connect deeply with the natural world.

No experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
