Forest bathing in the most hidden and majestic vineyards in Sonoma County not only provides an opportunity to slow down and reduce stress, but it also is an extraordinary way to connect to the terroir of this world-famous wine region through a full-sensory experience. 

Hotel guests can book a private forest bathing walk through the spa. Experiences take place in a small private forest on the property at Farmhouse Inn.

Guests staying at Dawn Ranch can book a private 90-minute forest bathing session on site in beautiful Guerneville. Participants are led in the practice of forest bathing on this beautiful property housing Dawn Redwoods, which were once believed extinct but were rediscovered in the 20th century, and now represent the sole living species within their genus.

Join us for an immersive forest bathing and estate wine-tasting experience. You will be guided through the Japanese meditative practice, shinrin-yoku, opening all five senses to the land and vineyard, connecting you with nature. Afterward, you’ll be seated on the Oak Knoll for a tasting of wines grown on our sustainably farmed estate. Forest bathing enhances the wine, and the wine enhances your experience of the land!

AutoCamp guests can book a private forest bathing walk at the Grove of the Old Trees in Occidental. Participants are guided on how to slow down, disconnect from technology, and take a break from life’s daily stressors.

This meditation experience is held at the Biodynamic DaVero Farms and Winery just minutes from the hotel. DaVero is home to a flowing creek, a variety of olive and fruit trees, vineyards, lavender, and farm animals.

Following the nature therapy experience, with senses awakened, and with a more intimate connection to the farm and vineyards, guests may choose to add on a special wine tasting in the DaVero Gardens. Available for Hotel Healdsburg guests only.
